Privacy policy
Effective date: 2026-09-11
1. General
This policy explains how My Shore Excursion processes personal data through https://my-shoreexcursion.com/ (the Site). We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable European privacy and electronic communications laws.
My Shore Excursion is the data controller. Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to tjtours10@gmail.com or made by phone at +30 690 893 2921.
2. Data we process
We may process:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- booking details, tour dates, group composition and accessibility or dietary requests;
- identity document details where a port, ticket provider or public authority requires them;
- payment status and transaction references, but not full card details;
- messages and other information you choose to provide;
- IP address, browser, device, referral source and cookie identifiers.
Please do not provide health or other sensitive data unless it is necessary for us to deliver your tour safely. Where you provide such information, we process it with your explicit consent or where necessary to protect vital interests.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
| Purpose | GDPR legal ground |
|---|---|
| Answering enquiries and taking steps before a booking | Article 6(1)(b), contract |
| Booking and delivering tours | Article 6(1)(b), contract |
| Accounting, tax and lawful authority requests | Article 6(1)(c), legal obligation |
| Preventing fraud and protecting the Site | Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests |
| Optional analytics and advertising | Article 6(1)(a), consent |
| Marketing messages | Article 6(1)(a), separate consent |
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of booking.
4. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses essential technologies required for its operation. With your consent, it also uses Google Tag Manager and Yandex Metrica to understand visits and site performance. These providers may receive IP addresses, device information, visited pages and cookie identifiers and may process data outside the European Economic Area.
Optional analytics runs only after you consent. You may refuse or withdraw consent without losing access to the Site. You can also delete stored cookies in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the Site from working correctly.
5. Recipients and international transfers
We share only the data needed to provide your service with guides, transport operators, ports, museums, ticket providers, payment providers and IT or communications suppliers. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Some suppliers may be outside the EEA. Where GDPR requires it, transfers use an adequacy decision, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard. Opening WhatsApp or another external service is governed by that provider’s own privacy terms.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is normally retained for up to one year after the last contact. Booking records are retained for the booking period and afterwards for as long as needed for legal claims and accounting or tax obligations. Cookie and analytics retention depends on the provider and your consent settings.
We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires longer retention.
7. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may withdraw consent and complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
Send requests to tjtours10@gmail.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and normally respond within one month.
8. Security and children
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, including restricted access and encrypted web traffic. No online system is completely secure.
The Site is intended for adults arranging travel. A parent or guardian must provide information required for a child included in a booking.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The current version and its date are published on this page.
